Bittylicious is a service that sells bitcoin, and other coins, to people paying from the United Kingdom. According to the general terms, the contracting party is Bittylicious (Isle of Man) Limited, company number 134003C, registered office The Chapel, Onchan, IM3 4HG, Isle of Man. The same terms say the company is registered with the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority as a Designated Business.[1][2]
How buying works
The homepage on 18 September 2026 told visitors that a purchase required an IP address in the United Kingdom, and that an account was required before a purchase. Bank transfer was listed next to a UK bank account with online banking, a payment from the account holder rather than a third party, and Faster Payments. Cash deposits and telephone banking were marked as not allowed. Card payment was listed as a Visa or Mastercard in the buyer's name, and the page said that method was not available until an account existed. Minimum purchase sizes shown on the page change with the quote.
An older account said no registration was needed for small amounts, and that extra limits opened up after email, phone, identity, and a bank check through miiCard. The buy flow open on 18 September 2026 required an account and did not mention miiCard.
The footer on the homepage repeats the Isle of Man company number and the Onchan office, in a slightly longer street form: The Chapel, Nursery Avenue, Onchan, IM3 4HG.
The UK company is a different entity
Companies House has a separate company, BITTYLICIOUS LTD, number 08540541. On 18 September 2026 the register showed it as Active, incorporated on 22 May 2013, with a registered office at Unit 132 Henry House, 275 New North Road, London, N1 7AA, and with SIC 99999, Dormant Company. The terms of the trading site do not name this English company as the operator.[3]
History
Bittylicious launched for beta testing on 20 June 2013 and fully on 24 June 2013.[4] After launch the service became able to handle more than one currency and more than one country. The homepage fetched on 18 September 2026 presented a UK purchase flow.
